American Cheese Month

American Cheese Month is a nationwide celebration brought to us by the American Cheese Society. Check out their website for more events from coast to coast and follow American Cheese Month on Facebook to hear about what's happening throughout October.

In addition to in-store tastings and information being made available both in our stores and on Facebook, Pastoral will be running a number of promotions this month. Each of our stores will be featuring a special American Cheese Month-inspired sandwich, created by the chef of the soon-to-open Bar Pastoral. We will also be donating a portion of the sales of those sandwiches, along with our Great Ladies of Cheese medley to the Daphne Zepos Teaching Award.

In addition to spreading the word on American artisan cheese, American Cheese Month is a fundraiser for the American Cheese Education Foundation.
