Our SANDWICH BAR ASSOCIATES will focus on fulfillment of sandwich and salad orders, catering and fulfillment prep, and provide outstanding customer service to all guests. The Associates will assist with opening and closing procedures, and assist other team members as needed.

Our COUNTER SALES ASSOCIATES will deliver impeccable customer service while educating Pastoral's customers about the fascinating world of artisan cheese, charcuterie, bread, and wines.

Some other things that you will do:
- answer phones; take sandwich and catering orders
- assist with opening and closing procedures
- replenish the floor with merchandise
- assist with catering and gifting needs
- taste cheeses and wines and learn all about them!
- SMILE and have a good time- we're selling products that make people happy!

- Prior experience in the food industry and with small-batch, artisan food (particularly cheese and/or wine) is strongly preferred
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and throughout peak season; night and weekend availability is required
- Must be a positive person that always wears a smile
- Willingness to study and learn about our always-changing mix of artisan cheese, wine, charcuterie, bread and accompaniments
- Proficient knife skills
- Must obtain Food Handler license upon employment
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds



Warehouse Logistics Manager

 Overview: The Warehouse Logistics Manager is an exempt manager who reports directly to the Facilities Operations Manager for all overall job functions, including but not limited to the organization and running of all the warehouse and delivery activities.  The Delivery Drivers report to the Warehouse Logistics Manager.

 Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Warehouse Receivers and Delivery Drivers; administer hiring needs, performance appraisals and handle corrective action
  • Enter data into delivery calendar and schedule with 3rd party vendors; organize & draft drivers schedule; monitor logistics and reroute accordingly daily
  • Act as the main point of contact for delivery drivers throughout the day; schedule and maintain vehicle maintenance
  • Work with store managers, catering & events staff, and other management team members to create creative solutions for busy delivery days or double bookings
  • Oversee warehouse shipments to be received, ensuring we follow food safety guidelines and proper storage procedures including but not limited to temperature, weighing, dating, labeling
  • Gathering and organizing accurate and efficient store transfers, ensure accurate entry of transfer slips into Quickbooks POS
  • Oversee and ensure accurate record keeping of warehouse inventory and proper ringing and documenting of Delivery Driver tips
  • Organize and maintain warehouse inventory; assist with monthly warehouse counts
  • Develop and implement disaster response and safety planning initiatives pertaining to personnel and food in concert with content experts
  • Conduct a daily walk-through of all refrigeration units; clean and organize as needed
  • Suggest and implement process improvements in all areas of warehouse logistics to streamline processes and create a more efficient team including but not limited to communication methods, documentation methods, forms, and other daily activities
  • Forms and executes plans to ensure we are being cost conscious by repurposing items, not over ordering, and distributing resources efficiently
  • Other duties as assigned



  • 2+ years experience in food industry or warehouse environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Meticulous attention to detail; highly organized
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing in excess of 50 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion. 
  • Works with and operates equipment such as phones, computers, fax machines, copiers, and other office equipment
