 Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Schedule social media content based on established schedule across all social channels; create content calendar that is relevant to trends and outside events; maintain calendar content
  • Assist with and work at promotional marketing and catering events, private classes, and guided tasting offerings, i.e. descriptions of classes offered, pricing, and policies for in-store and off-site classes

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Proactively seek out new business for Pastoral’s turnkey catering trays and custom catering trays from existing markets while identifying new channels for profitable growth
  • Manage department to established sales goals, proactively seeking ways to maximize sales and increase revenue through product and client mix
  • Drive the performance of the sales team through employee development, coaching, sale performance management, and motivation strategies to ensure achievement of established goals 
  • Coordinate catering execution with existing catering partners as well as actively soliciting new business
  • Develop long-term relationships with local businesses and individuals to maximize repeat clients; handle large or complicated orders from individuals or businesses
  • Direct incoming event requests; cost events for profitability, draft proposals, take deposits, coordinate with store managers and buyers to ensure successful events and client satisfaction from start to finish

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Catering and Gifting Sales Manager; handle administrative duties related to event execution including proposal drafts, generation of sales orders and catering sheets, intake of deposits, coordination of food production in conjunction with store managers, manage deliveries, etc
  • Respond to inbound requests in a timely manner in keeping with standard Pastoral catering and events procedures; create and maintain client contact records and order histories for inbound and outbound sales

  • Seasonally organize a mass mailing of gift catalogs to corporations and individuals; assist with developing corporate gifting programs during the holidays as well as throughout the year

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the customer experiences and ensure customer satisfaction; see any customer-related problems to quick resolution and recognize when to involve the Store Operations Manager; provide efficient, knowledgeable and friendly service in keeping with Pastoral’s TLC service model

  • Communicate with drivers and Fulton throughout the day to ensure on time deliveries; regularly check Google calendar to ensure that all deliveries are being reported accurately
  • Identify and report any equipment issues to the Store Operations Manager
  • Practice effective and professional conflict resolution
  • In conjunction with the Store Operations Manager, ensure all shifts are filled appropriately when employee call outs or unassigned shifts occur
